Full Job Description Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Assist with seating arrangements to ensure efficient use of space
- Take reservations and manage the waitlist
- Answer phone calls and provide information about the restaurant
- Use POS system to input orders and process payments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
- Handle guest inquiries and requests with excellent customer service skills
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Knowledge of guest relations and guest services principles
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and practices
