Overview It is the responsibility of the Host/Hostess to greet guests as the enter the outlet, take reservations if needed, show the guest to their table and provide menus. Responsibilities Greet guests in a friendly manner Seat guests and provide menus Answering phone calls, take reservations as needed, answer guests' questions. Knowledge of menu items. Attends pre-shift meetings. Maintains uniform appearance according to established guidelines. Welcomes guests, removes extra set-ups, and serves water to guests. Assists Food Server as needed. Assists with maintaining a neat, clean, and safe working environment. Turns-over/Takes-over station according to established procedure. Assist with to-go orders. Assist with sorting, polishing and rolling up silverware. Completes special projects as requested by Food & Beverage management. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Ability to move throughout the hotel (standing, walking, kneeling, and bending) for extended periods of time. Ability to sit for extended periods of time. WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment. There are occasional hot and cold temperature changes. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to a smoke-filled environment. Work with others in close spaces. Moderate to high noise levels.
