Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and energetic Host/Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage guest relations effectively while maintaining a smooth flow of operations in the restaurant. Duties Greet guests warmly as they arrive and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently. Maintain an organized waitlist during busy periods. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area. Utilize POS system Support servers and other staff as needed to enhance the overall dining experience. Qualifications Previous experience as a Host/Host or in a similar role within the food service or hospitality industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to handle phone etiquette professionally when taking reservations or answering inquiries. A passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for guests.
