Responsibilities Greet guests with enthusiasm and professionalism, providing a positive first impression Manage restaurant reservations using reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Coordinate seating arrangements and monitor table availability to optimize guest flow Answer incoming phone calls with courteous phone etiquette, assist with inquiries, and take reservations accurately Maintain organized waitlists and communicate wait times effectively to guests Support the host team in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the entrance area Assist with guest services by addressing special requests and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit Skills Proven experience as a host/hostess or in a customer service role within a restaurant or food service environment Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on friendly phone etiquette Knowledge of restaurant reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and organization skills Basic math skills for managing seating charts, waitlists, and billing processes Familiarity with POS systems including POS terminals and cash handling procedures Understanding of food safety standards and hospitality best practices to ensure guest well-being and satisfaction Embark on a rewarding journey in hospitality where your positive attitude and organizational talents will shine.
