About the Role We're launching a new Pokémon trading card business focused heavily on TikTok Live auctions and live commerce , and we're looking for energetic, comfortable, and engaging people to become the face of our live streams. This is not a traditional retail sales position. Your main job will be to host TikTok Live auctions, interact with viewers, create an entertaining environment, showcase Pokémon products, and find new ways to keep people watching and participating. We are looking for someone who is comfortable being on camera and can naturally communicate with a live audience. You should be able to keep a stream moving, respond to comments, explain products, build excitement around auctions, and experiment with different formats and selling games. Knowledge of Pokémon and Pokémon cards is important, but you do not need to know every card, set, or product. We can teach the right person more about the products. Being comfortable and engaging on camera is the most important part of the role. Responsibilities Host Pokémon card auctions and sales on TikTok Live Present and showcase Pokémon cards, packs, graded cards, boxes, and other collectibles Keep live streams entertaining, interactive, and engaging Communicate with viewers and respond to live comments and questions Build relationships with repeat viewers and customers Prepare products and inventory before each live stream Help decide which products should be featured during streams Research Pokémon products, trends, new releases, and popular cards Help test different types of products and live-selling formats Create new auction games, promotions, giveaways, and interactive selling concepts Experiment with different ways to increase viewer participation and engagement Create TikTok videos and other short-form content outside of live streams Help grow the TikTok account and develop the personality of the brand Stay up to date on Pokémon TCG trends and the broader trading card community Work with the rest of the team to improve each live stream based on what performs well This position will not be responsible for packaging and shipping customer orders. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Comfortable speaking and performing on camera Comfortable hosting a live stream in front of potentially hundreds or thousands of viewers Naturally conversational and able to keep talking without needing a script Energetic, engaging, and personable Interested in Pokémon, trading cards, collectibles, gaming, or similar communities Familiar with TikTok and short-form social media content Able to quickly learn new Pokémon products and card values Creative and willing to test new ideas Comfortable responding to viewers in real time Reliable and able to work independently during a live stream Excited about joining an early-stage business where we will constantly be testing new ideas Pokémon Experience Existing knowledge of Pokémon cards is strongly preferred. You do not need to be an expert collector, but you should either already understand Pokémon TCG or be genuinely interested in learning the market. Knowledge of things such as Pokémon sets, booster boxes, packs, graded cards, PSA slabs, chase cards, vintage cards, and current releases is a plus. Live Selling Experience Previous experience with any of the following is a major plus: TikTok Live TikTok Shop Whatnot Fanatics Live eBay Live Instagram Live Twitch Live commerce Auction hosting Social media content creation However, prior live-selling experience is not required if you have the right personality and are comfortable on camera. Schedule We are looking to build a team of multiple hosts so that we can operate live streams across different days and shifts. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available. About Us We are building a new Pokémon card and collectibles business centered around the rapidly growing world of live commerce. This is an early-stage startup environment. We will be testing different products, auction formats, content styles, and live-selling strategies to figure out what works best.
