Job Description
Job Overview Alléchant is seeking a reliable, organized and personable host for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening dinner service, with the possibility of additional shifts in the future. We are a busy full-service restaurant committed to merging the highest dining standards with neighborhood charm. Duties Greet and seat guests, ensure every party is set up with menus and water Manage reservations via Resy, opening and closing online availability as needed to ensure an ideal flow of business Coordinate with servers, managing table timelines and special requests Answer phone calls Assist in bussing and setting up tables Set up/break down dining room and patio at the beginning and end of each shift Use slower moments to accomplish routine cleaning tasks across the restaurant Collaborate with kitchen and dish room to evenly distribute the load of daily cleaning tasks. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a hygienic working environment Experience/pre-requisites Previous restaurant experience is strongly preferred Attention to detail Sense of urgency Strong time-management skills Ability to engage genuinely with our guests Benefits A portion of pooled tips Post-shift meal Friendly work environment
