As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in setting the tone for their dining experience. Duties Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage reservations and seating arrangements Communicate wait times to guests and provide updates as necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area. Assist in managing the flow of guests during busy periods to ensure timely seating. Answer phone calls with professional phone etiquette, addressing inquiries and taking reservations. Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to enhance guest relations. Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction. Requirements Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but will train Strong communication skills Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude and willingness to learn about menu offerings and restaurant operations. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
