Job Summary:

The Host at Gigi's is the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. This role requires a polished, engaging, and service-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a gracious demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet guests warmly and sincerely as they arrive, creating an inviting first impression. Manage reservations and walk-in seating using the restaurant's reservation system. Escort guests to their tables and present menus in a courteous and efficient manner. Coordinate with servers and management to ensure smooth table turnover and optimal seating flow. Provide accurate wait times and keep guests informed during peak periods. Maintain a clean and organized host stand, entryway, and lobby area. Assist with answering phones, taking reservations, and responding to guest inquiries. Support the service team as needed to ensure exceptional guest experience. Uphold Gurney's service standards and brand values at all times.

Qualifications:

Previous hosting or guest service experience in a high-volume, upscale dining environment preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a polished, professional presence. Ability to remain calm and gracious under pressure. Experience with reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable, Resy) a plus. Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.

Pay Range and Compensation Package:
