Job Overview We're looking for an energetic and friendly Host to be the first point of contact for our guests. In this role, you will manage reservations, greet guests with a smile, and ensure smooth seating and guest flow. Duties Welcome guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to optimize table utilization. Manage restaurant reservations using our table management systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Answer phone inquiries professionally, providing information about wait times, reservations, and general restaurant details. Maintain a clean and organized host stand area, including menus and reservation logs. Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and guest flow. Handle guest inquiries or concerns courteously, striving to resolve issues promptly. Support food safety and cleanliness standards in all guest interaction areas. Qualifications Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting is preferred. Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest relations. Basic math skills for handling reservations and seating arrangements accurately. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tables and guest needs efficiently. Knowledge of food service practices, hospitality standards, and food safety regulations. A friendly attitude with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
