Terrace Grill & Hunt Room Position Summary:

The Host/Hostess is the first point of contact for members and guests dining in the Terrace Grill and Hunt Room. This role is responsible for creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere while managing reservations, seating, and overall flow of the dining rooms. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and committed to providing exceptional member service.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet members and guests promptly with a professional and friendly demeanor Manage reservations and waitlists using the club's reservation system Seat guests efficiently while balancing server sections and dining room flow Communicate clearly with servers, managers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entry areas Answer phone calls and assist members with dining inquiries and reservations Provide accurate information about menus, specials, and club events Assist with light side work as needed to support the dining team

Qualifications:

Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
