Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Pay is $12 plus tips. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, managing reservations, and ensuring efficient seating arrangements. This role is crucial in delivering exceptional customer service and enhancing the overall dining experience. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with menus. Manage the seating chart and coordinate with servers to ensure timely seating of guests. Handle reservations and walk-in guests efficiently, maintaining an organized waitlist when necessary. Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to relay guest needs and special requests. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area. Assist with answering phone calls, taking reservations, and providing information about menu items or specials. Foster positive guest relations by addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly and professionally. Uphold high standards of hospitality to ensure a memorable dining experience for all guests. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Available to work weekends and peak times. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service and guest relations. Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with guests. A passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing outstanding guest services. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
