Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. The Host/Host will manage reservations, greet guests, and ensure that all guests feel welcomed and valued. Duties Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow. Communicate wait times accurately to guests and provide updates as necessary. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area. Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction. Handle guest inquiries and concerns promptly, demonstrating strong guest relations skills. Utilize POS systems, such as Aloha POS, to manage reservations and track seating availability. Skills Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest services and customer satisfaction. Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members. Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus but not required. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn about the restaurant's menu offerings and services.
