Host/Hostess - Weekends

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and friendly Host/Hostess to join our team on weekends! This vital role is the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for a memorable dining experience. As a weekend host or hostess, you will create a warm, welcoming atmosphere by managing reservations, greeting guests with enthusiasm, and coordinating seating arrangements efficiently. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor Manage reservations and waitlists using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems accurately Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction Answer phone inquiries with clear, courteous communication, providing accurate information about wait times and reservations Assist guests with special requests or accommodations to enhance their dining experience Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station and waiting area Collaborate with servers, bartenders, and management to ensure smooth service flow during busy weekends Skills Proven experience as a host/hostess or in food service environments Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Knowledge of hospitality standards and guest relations best practices Ability to handle phone etiquette professionally and efficiently Previous hotel or guest services experience is a plus but not required Ability to remain energetic, organized, and attentive during busy weekend shifts Join us in creating exceptional guest experiences!
