Responsibilities Greet guests promptly with a friendly attitude, managing their seating preferences and reservations efficiently Manage restaurant reservation systems to optimize table turnover and guest flow Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing accurate information and taking reservations or requests as needed Maintain organized restaurant table management systems to ensure smooth seating arrangements and waitlist updates Assist guests with seating, answer questions about menu items, and provide exceptional guest relations throughout their visit Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely seating and guest satisfaction Uphold food safety standards by adhering to hygiene protocols and supporting a clean dining environment Qualifications Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and customer service abilities Familiarity with restaurant reservation management software and POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Basic math skills for handling reservations, waitlist calculations, and billing support Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tables and guest requests efficiently Knowledge of food safety practices and hospitality standards Ability to remain energetic, positive, and professional in a fast-paced environment Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering memorable guest experiences!
