Using active listening and empathy, they anticipate and address guests' needs, striving to understand their preferences on a personal level. They serve as a key contact and resource for guests, offering creative solutions to any challenges that arise. Additionally, a Host ensures that guests depart with a positive impression, encouraging their return to the hotel in the future.

Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a positive first impression. Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover. Seat guests promptly and efficiently, considering server sections and guest preferences. Communicate effectively with guests, servers, and management to ensure a smooth dining experience. Practice safe work habits, including wearing protective safety equipment and following MSDS and OSHA standards. Perform other duties as requested by management. High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous food and beverage experience or equivalent training required. Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays, weekends and alternate shifts. Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending and reaching..
