Job Brief:

Greet restaurant guests, inform them of wait times, coordinate tables and servers, and escort guests to tables and facilities as needed. Part-time, approximately 2-5 shifts a week.

Responsibilities:

Greet incoming and departing Guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact; escort them to assigned dining area; present menus; announce waiter's name Use visual cues to seat Guests in either the bar or dining area depending on their preference Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service Ensure guests needs are met and they receive high quality service Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol control policies Assist dining room staff by setting and clearing tables; replenishing water; serving beverages Receive payments by validating credit charges, approving checks, and accepting currency Reconcile cash drawer by proving cash transactions Contribute to team efforts by assisting with other tasks as needed

Requirements:

Must be 18 years or older (for alcohol service) Must be upbeat, outgoing and positive Must be able to perform basic math Ability to stand/walk and stay focused and alert for extended periods of time Ability to work effectively within a team Excellent communication skills 10 S Hanover St, Carlisle, PA 17013
