Answer phones, take reservations and messages.
Greet guests and seat the dining room.
Inform kitchen and service staff of any special information related to any guests in our dining room.
Keep the podium stocked with sharpened pencils, highlighters, pens, message pads, and breakdown sheets.
Maintain a neat, clean and safe work environment.
Replace menus as they are soiled.
Collect menus from side stands during service.
Help reset tables during busy table turns.
Process credit cards when guests are ready to leave.
Check restrooms for neatness and suppliesMust be able and willing to work weekends
GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
Greet the guest in a professional manner. Answer any questions the guest may have about the restaurant. Assist, when necessary, the dining room servers and runners in their daily duties. Maintain the flow of the dining room and communicate the needs for the day to the manager.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
