Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a memorable and seamless dining experience from the moment they arrive. As a Host, you will manage reservations, greet guests with enthusiasm, and coordinate seating arrangements efficiently. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, creating a positive first impression Manage restaurant reservation systems and walk-in seating requests with accuracy and efficiency Coordinate table assignments to optimize seating flow and minimize wait times Answer phone calls professionally, providing information about wait times, reservations, and general inquiries Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service operations Utilize restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to track seating and reservations Requirements Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant or food service environment preferred Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening Basic math skills for handling reservations, waitlists, and guest counts Familiarity with restaurant reservation management software and POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices Join our team to create welcoming atmospheres where every guest feels valued!
