Host/Hostess Pay:

$9-$10 per hour Gato Taco & Tequila is looking for a friendly, dependable Host/Hostess to join our team! As the first point of contact for our guests, you'll help create a welcoming experience while keeping reservations, seating, and the waitlist organized during service.

Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive Seat guests and provide menus Take reservations and manage the waitlist Manage seating and table assignments through Toast POS Answer phone calls and assist guests with questions Communicate with servers and management to maintain an organized seating flow Assist with guest needs and provide excellent customer service Keep the host station and entrance clean and organized Assist the restaurant team with additional tasks as needed during service

Qualifications:

Friendly, professional, and dependable Strong communication and customer service skills Comfortable answering phones and interacting with guests Able to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant environment Organized and attentive to detail Able to work well as part of a team Restaurant experience is preferred but not required — we are willing to train the right person

Availability:

Evening and weekend availability is required.

Pay:

$9.00 - $10.00 per hour
