Cross-Trained Team Member Pay:

$12.00-$14.00 Gato Taco & Tequila is looking for a dependable, flexible team member who is comfortable working in both front-of-house and back-of-house positions. This is a cross-trained role that combines hosting with kitchen support based on the needs of the restaurant. Some shifts may primarily involve hosting, while others may include assisting the kitchen with prep, dishes, stocking, cleaning, and other support tasks.

Responsibilities:

Greet and seat guests Take reservations and manage the waitlist Manage seating and table assignments through Toast POS Answer restaurant phone calls and assist guests Communicate with servers and management to maintain smooth seating and service Assist with basic food preparation Wash dishes and maintain an organized dish area as needed Restock ingredients, supplies, and kitchen stations Assist with kitchen cleaning and sanitation Follow food-safety and restaurant procedures Help wherever needed during busy service periods

Qualifications:

Dependable, flexible, and willing to work as part of a team Comfortable working with both guests and kitchen staff Able to move between front-of-house and back-of-house responsibilities Able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills Willing to learn multiple restaurant positions Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required Must be comfortable standing for extended periods and performing normal restaurant tasks such as bending, reaching, carrying supplies, and cleaning

Availability:

Evening and weekend availability is required.

Pay:

$12.00 - $14.00 per hour
