CRITICAL AVAILABILITY
We are looking for someone who can work PT, a minimum of 2-3 shifts per week. We are specifically hiring right now for Friday & Saturday nights from 4:30-9:30/10pm.Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Maitre'D. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive dining experience.Duties:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Assist with seating arrangements to ensure efficient use of space
- Manage waiting lists and notify guests when their table is ready
- Answer phone calls and take reservations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station and bathrooms throughout the evening
- Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Resy, Opentable and Toast or similar restaurant management software is a plus
- Strong guest relations skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service
- Basic knowledge of Spanish (or fluency) would be an awesome addition!
