Pittsburgh, PA Program Dates:
February 2027 through the end of the spring semester Position Overview The Riverhounds Development Academy is seeking an outgoing, creative Content Creator & On-Camera Host Intern to bring the academy's personality to life. We are looking for someone who can walk into a practice, connect with players and coaches, and turn everyday moments into entertaining short-form videos. Think quick interviews, teammate questions, soccer challenges, friendly debates, and behind-the-scenes features that players enjoy participating in and fans want to share. You will help become a recognizable personality across academy content, building recurring video series that showcase the people behind the game. This role is dedicated to the Riverhounds Development Academy. A large personal following is not required—we care about your creativity, presence, and ability to connect with people. Duties & Responsibilities Attend academy practices, camps, games, and events to capture original video content. Host upbeat interviews with players and coaches. Develop recurring segments, such as "Who would last longest without their phone?", teammate superlatives, and quick soccer challenges. Pitch timely ideas and adapt social trends to fit the academy's audience. Film and edit vertical videos with clear audio, captions, and strong pacing. Work with the academy marketing team to review and approve content before publication. Keep participation voluntary and content age-appropriate, positive, and respectful, following academy permissions and filming guidelines. Qualifications Currently enrolled in college and eligible to receive academic credit. Comfortable appearing on camera and approaching new people. Ability to build rapport with youth players and coaches. Understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and short-form storytelling. Basic filming and video editing skills using tools such as CapCut or Adobe Premiere. Reliable, collaborative, and available for evening and weekend academy activities. Application Requirements Please submit a résumé, and two or three video samples. Include at least one example of you speaking on camera or interviewing someone. A sample created specifically for this application is welcome. This internship is for academic credit. We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
