As a Host, you will manage restaurant reservations, coordinate seating arrangements, and ensure smooth guest flow throughout the dining area. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression Manage restaurant reservation systems and walk-in seating requests efficiently using restaurant table management software such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table utilization while accommodating special requests and guest preferences Answer incoming phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, providing information about wait times, reservations, and general inquiries Maintain organized waiting lists and communicate wait times clearly to guests Assist with guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously Support food safety standards by ensuring cleanliness of the host station and adherence to hygiene protocols Experience Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting is preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems and POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone communication and etiquette Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple tables, reservations, and guest requests efficiently Basic math skills for handling reservations, waitlist calculations, and billing support if needed Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices to ensure a safe and welcoming environment Join our team where your enthusiasm fuels memorable dining experiences!
