A Host or Hostess greets customers when they arrive at a restaurant. Manages reservations, seats customers, and helps wait staff as needed with attending to customer requests and service.
Silver Cypress Resort, a small oceanfront boutique resort in Nesika Beach near Gold Beach, is looking for a dependable, organized, and guest-focused House Manager. This is a part-time position averaging approximately two hours per day, five days per week. Some availability around guest check-in time is important.
Pay:
$35-$45 per hour
Schedule:
Five days per week, approximately 10 hours per week with on-call responsibilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
Monitor and respond to guest messages and resort phone notifications 24 hours a day, 5 days per week Review daily arrivals, departures, and special guest requests Coordinate housekeeping assignments and confirm that cleaners arrive Inspect guest units before check-in to ensure they are clean, stocked, and ready Replace missing items in each unit when needed Handle routine guest questions and promptly report serious guest or maintenance issues to the owners Maintain resort inventory and restock cleaning supplies Prepare and verify housekeeper invoices twice monthly Help hire, train, schedule, and supervise housekeeping staff Create a social media post each week Assist with occasional storm preparation and other resort needs

Dependable, trustworthy, and highly organized Friendly and professional with guests and staff Comfortable using a smartphone, email, and booking or social-media apps Able to notice small details and maintain high cleanliness standards Comfortable supervising independent housekeepers Able to work independently and communicate clearly with the owners Lives near Nesika Beach or Gold Beach and has reliable transportation Available for occasional last-minute guest or housekeeping situations Hospitality, property-management, or housekeeping experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person.
