Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing exceptional guest relations and ensuring a positive first impression Manage guest seating arrangements efficiently, coordinating with the team to optimize flow and minimize wait times Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS accurately to process payments swiftly and securely Handle cash and credit transactions with attention to detail, maintaining accuracy in all financial exchanges Answer guest inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and clear communication, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization at the host stand and cashier area to uphold high standards of hospitality Support team members during busy periods by providing courteous service and ensuring guest satisfaction at all times Skills Previous host/hostess experience or food service background is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with restaurant operations Strong customer service skills with a genuine passion for creating welcoming environments for guests Proficiency in using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with guests and team members Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is a plus, highlighting adaptability across guest services settings Knowledge of serving protocols, restaurant etiquette, and guest relations best practices Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a friendly demeanor under pressure Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
