As the first point of contact for our guests, you'll set the tone for an enjoyable dining experience by managing the waitlist, greeting guests, and ensuring smooth seating arrangements. If you love creating welcoming atmospheres and thrive in a lively environment, this role is perfect for you! Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, making them feel at home from the moment they walk in. Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using Toast Tables. Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while ensuring guest comfort. Assist in placing and managing to-go orders. Maintain organization of the host stand and waiting area, keeping it clean and inviting at all times. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and smooth flow of service. Support food safety standards by following proper procedures when handling guest information and reservations. Qualifications Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required; food service experience is a plus. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on friendly phone etiquette and guest relations. Familiarity with restaurant reservation management software such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Basic math skills to handle seating calculations and reservation adjustments accurately. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tables, reservations, and guest needs simultaneously. Knowledge of restaurant operations, including POS systems and food safety protocols, is beneficial. A positive attitude, hospitality mindset, and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. 21+ years of age required.
