In this energetic role, you'll be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring they feel welcomed, valued, and comfortable from the moment they arrive. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create a lively atmosphere that keeps guests excited to return. Duties Greet guests with a friendly and energetic attitude, making them feel instantly welcomed Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using restaurant table management systems such as Toast POS Coordinate seating arrangements and waitlist management to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information about wait times, reservations, and general inquiries while practicing excellent phone etiquette Maintain organized guest lists and reservation logs to ensure smooth flow during busy hours Assist in guest relations by addressing special requests or concerns promptly and courteously Support food service staff by communicating guest needs clearly and ensuring timely seating arrangements Experience Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems such as Toast is highly desirable Experience with food service operations, including basic math for handling reservations and guest counts Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant table management tools to streamline guest flow Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on clear, friendly interactions Organizational skills to manage multiple tables, reservations, and guest requests efficiently while maintaining food safety standards Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering memorable dining experiences.
