Job Summary We are seeking a warm, welcoming, and organized Restaurant Host/Hostess to join our team. Weekend availability and holiday shifts are required to support our busy service times. Responsibilities Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Manage guest seating arrangements efficiently using an iPad or similar device, ensuring timely table assignments. Maintain organization of the host stand and waiting list to facilitate smooth operations during busy periods. Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and available seating options. Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host area. Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure guest needs are met promptly and courteously. Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns with professionalism and a friendly demeanor. Support the team during peak hours, including weekends and holidays, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork. Experience Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required; a friendly personality and organizational skills are essential. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Comfort using an iPad or similar digital device for managing reservations and seating arrangements. Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on creating positive guest experiences. Availability to work on weekends and during holidays is necessary to meet the demands of the role.

Pay:

$12.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 25.0 per week
