Host Responsibilities:

Warmly greet all guests as they enter the restaurant. Manage reservations and walk-in seating using our reservation system (Open Table). Accurately quote wait times and manage guest expectations. Escort guests to their tables, present menus, and inform them of their server's name. Answer phone calls with professionalism and assist guests with inquiries or direct them to the appropriate person. Maintain an organized and clean host stand and waiting area. Assist in maintaining dining room flow and communicating seating needs to servers and management. Handle guest concerns and special requests with grace and efficiency. Assist with light cleaning duties as needed. Collaborate effectively with the entire front-of-house team to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a host or customer service role is preferred. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. A friendly, professional, and welcoming demeanor. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Open Table is a plus. Ability to stand for extended periods.
