The Restaurant Host is responsible for greeting guests as they arrive at the restaurant, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth flow of guest seating. This role is vital to creating a welcoming atmosphere, handling guest requests, and providing exceptional customer service in alignment with the Pinnacle Heirloom brand. Greet and welcome guests as they arrive in the restaurant, ensuring a warm and friendly environment. Escort guests to their tables and ensure seating arrangements meet guest preferences. Manage restaurant's reservation system, ensuring reservations are confirmed and guests are seated in a timely manner. Monitor dining room activity to ensure proper flow and seating efficiency. Answer guest inquiries regarding restaurant menus, hours of operation, and other services offered. Assist in handling guest complaints or concerns in a courteous and professional manner. Maintain an accurate waitlist and communicate wait times clearly to guests. Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure that guests are promptly attended to. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining areas. Assist with light cleaning duties such as resetting tables and organizing menus. Support other front-of-house staff as needed to ensure excellent guest service. Other duties as assigned. High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Friendly, approachable demeanor with a positive attitude. Ability to handle guest inquiries and complaints effectively. Ability to stand for long periods and assist with various duties in the restaurant. Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds. Stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
