Responsibilities Greet guests promptly with a friendly and professional demeanor, providing excellent guest relations from arrival to departure Manage restaurant reservation systems, including booking, confirming, and adjusting reservations to optimize seating flow Coordinate seating arrangements efficiently using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Answer incoming phone calls with proper phone etiquette, assisting with reservations and general inquiries Maintain organized waitlists and communicate wait times clearly to guests while managing expectations effectively Support the host team by ensuring cleanliness and readiness of the host stand area and waiting areas Collaborate closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless guest service flow and timely seating Requirements Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with restaurant operations Strong communication skills, including clear verbal interactions and professional phone etiquette Proficiency in restaurant reservation management systems (such as Aloha POS or Micros POS) and POS systems in general Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods Basic math skills for handling reservations, waitlist calculations, and guest management tasks Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service with a friendly, positive attitude Join us in creating memorable dining experiences by welcoming guests with enthusiasm, managing reservations seamlessly, and ensuring every visitor feels at home.
