Host / Hostess - Evenings & WeekendsRodizio Grill Hamilton Place Rodizio Grill Hamilton Place is hiring a friendly, organized and dependable host or hostess to join our front-of-house team. This opening requires consistent Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday availability. Please apply only if you can reliably work weekends and remain through the end of your scheduled shift. The host is the first and last impression of our restaurant. This position is best suited for someone who communicates confidently, stays calm under pressure and enjoys helping guests in a busy, high-volume environment. Schedule Requirements This position is primarily intended to cover: Friday evenings Saturdays Sundays Select weekday evenings Holidays and other high-volume restaurant days Applicants must have dependable transportation and be able to arrive on time for every scheduled shift. Responsibilities Greet every guest promptly and warmly Manage the waitlist and provide accurate wait-time estimates Answer incoming phone calls professionally Confirm reservations and assist with large-party seating Seat guests according to the restaurant's rotation Communicate table status with servers, bussers and managers Keep the entrance and host stand clean and organized Assist guests with basic questions about the Rodizio dining experience Keep up to date on all promotions and discounts Recognize and communicate special occasions or guest requests Help maintain menus and other front-desk materials Thank guests as they leave Assist the front-of-house team during busy periods Required Qualifications Applicants must: Be consistently available on Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays Have reliable transportation and dependable attendance Communicate clearly and professionally with guests Be comfortable answering phones and speaking with large groups Remain organized while handling multiple responsibilities Maintain a friendly and professional attitude under pressure Work well with servers, bussers, bartenders and management Be comfortable standing and walking throughout the shift Follow dress, grooming and customer-service standards Previous restaurant, hospitality or customer-service experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train applicants who demonstrate excellent availability, maturity and communication skills. Spanish-English bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply. Who Does Well in This Position Successful Rodizio hosts are welcoming, confident and attentive. They do more than point guests toward a table. They monitor the dining room, communicate delays honestly, notice when guests need assistance and help the restaurant maintain an organized flow during busy service. This position may not be a good fit for someone who is uncomfortable speaking with guests, frequently needs weekends off or becomes overwhelmed in a fast-paced environment.
