Responsibilities Greet guests warmly with enthusiasm and genuine friendliness, making them feel valued from the moment they arrive Manage reservation bookings and waitlists using POS systems such as Toast Tables & Reservations to ensure accurate seating arrangements Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to optimize table turnover and maintain efficient service flow Answer guest inquiries over the phone with professionalism, providing information about menu items, wait times, or special events Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area to uphold a welcoming environment Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience Support team members during busy periods by stepping into additional roles as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork Requirements Previous experience as a host or hostess in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and management Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus; ability to learn new technology quickly Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills to handle inquiries professionally Knowledge of hospitality standards, including guest services, serving procedures, and hotel experience is advantageous Ability to stand, walk, and remain energetic for extended periods during shifts A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences Join us in delivering exceptional service that leaves every guest feeling appreciated and eager to return.
