Permanent Cornea Ophthalmology Opportunity in Chattanooga, TN Are you ready to join a group with a strong referral base and an optometry-friendly culture? This is your chance to become part of a well-established ophthalmology practice in the beautiful city of Chattanooga. If you're a cornea-trained specialist, this opportunity offers you the chance to thrive in a supportive and dynamic environment. Practice Overview Work alongside 14 physicians across 2-3 offices with strong optometrist co-management Handle a high surgical volume with up to 50 cases per week Focus on adult surgical patients with minimal pediatric volume Work in 2-3 office locations and a physician-owned ASC with multiple ORs Schedule Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM, with 5 clinic days per week Flexible OR schedule: 2-5 days per week based on preference Blocked surgical time to support efficiency and predictability. Compensation & Benefits Salary $425,000 - $475,000, depending on experience Employed position with a 1-year income guarantee, followed by a percentage of collections Production incentives are generally around 35% Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and malpractice insurance Vacation and CME time, with relocation assistance and signing bonus considered Candidate Requirements MD or DO with fellowship training in cornea and external disease Open to residents, fellows, and experienced physicians (no visa sponsorship) Strong surgical judgment and a collaborative mindset Excellent communication skills and a positive contribution to practice culture Community & Location Highlights Enjoy a vibrant lifestyle in Chattanooga with access to outdoor recreation and cultural events.
