Position Summary Westhaven Golf Club, an award-winning, private golf club in Franklin, TN is searching for a Host who greets the guests and creates a welcoming environment for all. This person will manage the floor plan and ensure guests are seated in a timely manner. This is a part-time position, Tuesday through Saturday evenings, and Sunday mornings. Essential Functions Greet all guests by being attentive to them as soon as they walk through the door Creates a welcome environment for guests, when appropriate refer to guests by their names. Say yes! Always try to find ways to accommodate a request. Guides guests to their tables with menus. Managers the floor plan and pay special attention to reservations and ensure they are seated in a timely manner. Clean, organize, and stock menus at host area. Answers phone and answer questions concerning the menu and the restaurant. Observer the entire dining experience ensuring that every moment at the exceeds expectations Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Experienced Host Excellent multitasking ability. Problem-solving skills. Attention to detail. Strong leadership ability. Organizational skills. Customer service skills. Knowledge of food, beverage, and hospitality industries. Calm under pressure. Able to maintain restraint in stressful situations. Comfortable with hospitality and technology platforms. Enthusiasm and lots of energy. Education and Experience High school diploma or GED preferred Prior experience working in a restaurant Working knowledge Opentable preferred Tennessee ABC Server Card (must be attained in first 90 days on property) Physical Demands Frequently standing and walking Some lifting up to 25-50 lbs.
