We help people reset, recharge, and reconnect through intentional exposure to heat, cold, and rest. We are looking for Hosts who care deeply about wellness, hospitality, and creating meaningful guest experiences—but who also understand the importance of helping our studio grow through memberships, guest relationships, and community presence. As a Host, you will play a key role in shaping our studio culture, supporting daily operations, and delivering an experience rooted in accessibility, cleanliness, and community. This role goes beyond front-desk hospitality. We are looking for people who can warmly connect with guests, help them understand the value of becoming a member, encourage repeat visits, and represent PLUNJ in the community with enthusiasm and professionalism. What You'll Do Welcome guests and support check-in Guide guests through the sauna and cold plunge experience Maintain studio cleanliness and safety standards Conduct water pours during sauna sessions Support laundry, restocking, and reset windows Contribute to a calm, community-minded atmosphere Identify opportunities to share promotions, upcoming events, and membership benefits in a natural and helpful way Create the experience that ignites a ritual Represent PLUNJ positively through local outreach, events, partnerships, and community engagement opportunities What We're Looking For Warm, outgoing, people-oriented communicators Reliable, resilient, punctual team players Respectful, professional, and composed under pressure Comfortable working in hot and cold environments Enthusiasm for wellness, hospitality, and building community Confidence speaking with guests about memberships and encouraging ongoing engagement A genuine desire to help people return, become members, and feel like they belong at PLUNJ Interest in representing the studio beyond the front desk through outreach and relationship-building Morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend availability preferred Nice to Have Experience in hospitality, spas, gyms, wellness, retail, or other customer-facing roles Experience with memberships, client retention, outreach, or relationship-building Comfort talking with people about services, packages, and the value of joining Experience promoting a business through events, partnerships, or local engagement Interest in sauna and cold plunge therapy CPR/First Aid/AED certification, or willingness to obtain it Benefits Staff membership Flexible scheduling Paid training, with pay increase opportunities Additional earning potential through guest tips Team events and community connection Owners who genuinely care about their team and their growth
