Responsibilities Greet guests promptly with a positive attitude, providing excellent customer service from the moment they arrive or call. Manage restaurant reservations using reservation management systems, ensuring accurate booking and seating arrangements. Answer incoming phone calls professionally, providing information about menu items, wait times, and takeout orders while practicing proper phone etiquette. Coordinate seating arrangements and manage restaurant table management systems to optimize guest flow and minimize wait times. Assist with food service operations by organizing takeout orders, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining food safety standards. Maintain organized guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns efficiently, and fostering a welcoming environment. Support the team with basic math tasks such as calculating bills, processing payments through POS (Point of Sale) systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, and handling cash transactions accurately. Skills Proven experience as a host/hostess or in a customer-facing food service role. Past Togo/bagging experience is a big plus. Must be able to work under pressure and have great time management skills Strong knowledge of restaurant table management systems. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage guests warmly over the phone and in person. Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS for processing transactions smoothly. Exceptional organizational skills to manage reservations, seating plans, and guest flow efficiently. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures in a restaurant setting. Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing and cash handling tasks. Experience with restaurant experience or hospitality roles that emphasize guest relations and service excellence.
