Job Description

We're looking for a Full-Time Host who understands that hospitality begins the moment a guest walks through the door. This is an opportunity for someone who is warm, polished, organized, and genuinely excited to create exceptional experiences from the first hello to the final goodbye. As a Host, you'll set the tone for the guest experience while helping the restaurant run smoothly and efficiently. You'll work closely with servers, bartenders, managers, and the kitchen to ensure every guest feels welcomed, cared for, and confident that they're in good hands.
What You'll Do:
Create a warm, genuine, and polished welcome for every guest. Manage reservations, seating, waitlists, and guest flow using OpenTable with accuracy and confidence. Maintain accurate reservation notes, guest preferences, special requests, and table availability in OpenTable. Monitor and manage the OpenTable waitlist, pacing reservations and walk-ins to support a smooth dining room flow. Maintain a strong awareness of the dining room and anticipate guest and team needs. Communicate proactively with servers, managers, bartenders, and kitchen staff. Escort guests to their tables with confidence while providing thoughtful and informed hospitality. Maintain accurate knowledge of reservations, table availability, menus, and restaurant operations. Monitor table status and communicate effectively with the service team to maintain an efficient flow. Assist with coordinating special occasions, VIPs, large parties, and other guest needs. Keep the host stand, entryway, and surrounding areas clean, organized, and guest-ready at all times. Answer phones and respond to guest questions with warmth, professionalism, and confidence. Help ensure every detail of the guest experience is executed consistently. Take ownership of the overall flow and energy of the front door.
What We're Looking For:
Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred. Experience using OpenTable or a similar reservation management system preferred. A genuine passion for taking care of people. Warm, confident, and engaging communication skills. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to remain calm, composed, and gracious in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional attention to detail. Ability to anticipate needs and use good judgment without always being asked. Professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude. Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Comfort working in a high-touch, elevated dining environment.
What Success Looks Like:
Every guest feels genuinely welcomed and cared for. The host stand is organized, informed, and always guest-ready. OpenTable reservations, guest notes, waitlists, and seating assignments are managed accurately and efficiently. The dining room flows smoothly because communication is proactive and clear. Guests receive confident, thoughtful answers to their questions. Potential problems are identified and addressed before they become guest-facing issues. The host team communicates seamlessly with the rest of the restaurant. You understand that the small details matter and take pride in getting them right. Why Join Us? We're committed to building a culture where hospitality professionals can grow their careers, develop their skills, and have a meaningful impact on the people around them. We value ownership, integrity, curiosity, teamwork, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. We believe great hospitality isn't just about what happens at the table. It starts at the front door, and our Hosts play an essential role in creating an experience that guests remember. If you're naturally hospitable, thrive in a team environment, and take pride in creating a thoughtful and seamless guest experience, we'd love to meet you.
