Duties Welcome guests promptly with a friendly attitude, ensuring they feel valued from the moment they arrive Manage restaurant reservation systems and walk-in guest seating to optimize table utilization Answer phone calls professionally, providing information about wait times, reservations, and general inquiries Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and smooth service flow Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station and waiting area Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, and seating arrangements to enhance overall guest experiences Use restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to track reservations and seating status Skills Proven experience as a host/hostess or in a customer service role within food service or hospitality environments Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities Knowledge of restaurant reservation management software and POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure Basic math skills for managing reservations, waitlists, and billing procedures when necessary Familiarity with food safety standards and proper guest relations practices Organizational skills to manage seating charts, reservation schedules, and guest flow seamlessly Join our team as a Host/Hostess if you're passionate about delivering exceptional guest services in a lively environment!
