Normal Restaurant Environment General Responsibilities:

Greet guests in a timely and friendly manner. Fulfill guests needs and assist with special requests. At beginning of shift, perform walk thru inspection of the dining room to ensure areas are correctly setup for service. Communicate with Management on any guest comments or complaints. Prepares Floor Map & Server Listing and obtains approval from Management before posting. Directs Servers to preview the Floor Map & Server Listing for station assignment, pre-shift prep assignments and post-shift clean-up assignments. Washes hands frequently. Refers to Daily Schedule for shift responsibilities. Follows Daily Departmental Closing Procedures and checks with Management before leaving.

General Requirements:

Must be at least 16 years of age. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, and wipe. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and move around at a brisk pace. Must be able to work well under stress and exercise good judgment when dealing with guest problems and complaints. Must be able to work on time in a company approved uniform. Must maintain a professional appearance at all times. Must actively participate in daily Huddles. Must possess excellent communication skills and be a customer service champion. Must be able to effectively communicate with guests and other team members. Must follow proper food handling, safety, sanitation, and cleaning standards per The Toasted Yolk guidelines. Must be knowledgeable of menu items, food quality standards, promotions, and daily specials.
