We are an independent, locally owned family restaurant serving great food in a casual atmosphere in Brenham, Texas. This position requires an individual who likes working with customers in a positive and professional manner. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems like Aloha or Micros. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns. Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host area, enhancing the dining experience. Uphold phone etiquette when handling reservations and guest communications. Qualifications Previous experience as a host/hostess in a restaurant setting is a plus Strong customer service and communication skills Familiarity with food service operations Experience with POS systems, such as Toast is a plus Background in hospitality and guest relations Ability to manage phone etiquette and guest inquiries effectively
