Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and professional Host to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring excellent guest relations. This role is essential in providing a positive first impression and smooth dining experience for all patrons. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, along with strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlists efficiently Escort guests to their tables and provide menus Handle reservations and seating arrangements using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Manage guest inquiries both in person and over the phone with professional phone etiquette Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely seating and guest satisfaction Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station Assist with guest inquiries regarding menu items, specials, or restaurant policies Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless dining experience Skills Previous host/host experience or background in food service preferred Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is advantageous Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Knowledge of guest services, serving protocols, and hospitality standards Professional phone etiquette and guest relations skills Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure This role offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
