Job Description
Overview We are seeking a friendly, professional Host/Host to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role is vital in ensuring a positive first impression and smooth flow of the dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong background in customer service, and experience in restaurant or hospitality environments. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to guest satisfaction and exceptional service. Host starting pay at $10 plus tips. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations efficiently Escort guests to their tables and provide menus Manage waitlists and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover Handle guest inquiries courteously, both in person and over the phone, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for reservations and seating management Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service delivery Uphold hospitality standards by providing attentive, friendly service throughout guests' dining experience Skills Previous Host/Host experience preferred, especially within food service or restaurant settings Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence Effective communication skills, both verbal and written Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Experience in hotel or guest services is advantageous Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Professional phone etiquette and courteous demeanor at all times Knowledge of serving protocols and guest engagement techniques This role is essential in delivering an outstanding guest experience through professionalism, efficiency, and genuine hospitality.
