Job Description

What we are looking for: As a Host, you will be responsible for exceeding the guests expectations by providing them with friendly, prompt and attentive service that is tailored to the guests' preferences. A Host will be required to greet incoming and departing guests in a welcoming manner. The right team player will help set the pace of the dining room as you seat the guests in the dining areas while ensuring a smooth handoff to the service staff
Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly, helpful way
  • Keep the dining room clean and tidy throughout the day
  • Maintain sanitize the dining room at all times
  • Help parents with children's meals as needed
  • Maintain positive communication with management and co-workers
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous work experience as a Host/Hostess or Waiter/Waitress
  • Understanding of restaurant etiquette
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations
  • Experience in managing reservations
  • Demonstrable customer-service skills
  • Excellent communication skills (via phone and in-person)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining and bar area
  • Availability to work in shifts as needed
  • Good physical condition to walk and stand during an entire shift
  • High school diploma; hospitality certification is a plus
