The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for guest services in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover. Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations. Assist in guest relations by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow. Monitor dining area for guest satisfaction, ensuring all needs are met throughout their visit. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and waiting area. Skills Strong phone etiquette to handle reservations and inquiries effectively. Excellent guest service skills with a focus on creating positive experiences. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members. Familiarity with restaurant operations, including knowledge of food service standards. Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Strong guest relations skills to foster a welcoming environment in both restaurant and hotel settings. Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
