[Full-Time / Part-Time] Position Overview The Cashier / Host is the first and last point of contact for our guests and plays a key role in shaping the overall dining experience. This position is responsible for greeting guests, managing the flow of the dining room, processing transactions accurately, and ensuring every guest feels welcomed and taken care of from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Greet guests as they arrive with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor Guide guests through the dining experience, including explaining buffet service and pricing when needed Manage waitlists, reservations, and table flow to support efficient service Accurately process transactions using the POS system Answer phone calls, assist with inquiries, and provide clear, helpful information Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and front-of-house area Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations Assist with takeout orders and coordinate with the kitchen for timely pickup Monitor guest needs and address concerns or escalate to management when necessary Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or customer service role preferred Experience with OpenTable and Toast POS preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Basic math and cash handling skills Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed What We're Looking For Someone who naturally creates a welcoming environment Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency Comfortable interacting with a high volume of guests Ability to stay composed and solution-focused under pressure A team player who supports both front and back of house
