Responsibilities Greet guests warmly with enthusiasm and professionalism, making them feel instantly welcome Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using OpenTable system and Toast POS Escort guests to their tables promptly, ensuring smooth seating arrangements during busy hours Maintain clear communication with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate guest seating and special requests Handle guest inquiries over the phone with courteous phone etiquette, providing accurate information about wait times and restaurant offerings Assist in maintaining a clean and organized host stand area, including managing menus and reservation logs Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive dining experience for all visitors Qualifications Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members Familiarity with OpenTable and Toast POS systems Experience in hospitality, serving, or hotel guest services enhances your ability to excel in this role Knowledge of restaurant operations and guest relations best practices is highly desirable Ability to handle phone inquiries professionally while maintaining a friendly tone This position is an excellent opportunity for energetic individuals passionate about hospitality who want to contribute to creating memorable dining experiences.
