Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage restaurant reservation systems to optimize seating flow Escort guests to their tables, ensuring comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit Handle all cashier duties accurately using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Process payments efficiently, including cash, credit/debit cards, and digital transactions Maintain clear communication with team members regarding guest needs and table status Uphold food safety standards and ensure proper handling of guest orders and payments Answer phone inquiries professionally, providing information about reservations, wait times, and menu items while practicing excellent phone etiquette Organize the waitlist and manage table assignments to maximize seating efficiency Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously Experience Prior host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred Food service experience that demonstrates strong customer service skills Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems and POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on positive guest relations Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately Strong organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and table assignments effectively Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures in a hospitality setting Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering memorable dining experiences!
