Ensure seating is handled efficiently to maximize table turns and guest satisfaction. Give guests a warm goodbye as well. Accurately manage the reservation book and waitlist, communicating expected wait times to guests. Use our reservation software to organize and track guest information. Communicate effectively with servers and management regarding special requests, large parties, and table availability. Monitor the status of the dining room and patio to ensure tables are cleared and prepared for the next guests. Assist with light cleaning and maintenance of the entryway and host stand area. You may need to assist with bussing, first round of drinks, starting the first touch point, seeing how many checks we have down, where people are at in the stages of their meal, etc. Act as a liaison between the front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure a smooth flow of service. Working knowledge of Resy (our reservation software) preferred Expectations Have a good attitude and be friendly Treat customers and teammates with respect Be willing to help out wherever needed in the restaurant- we are a team!
