Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and personable Client Service Representative/Host to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensure seamless reservation and seating experiences. This role is vital in delivering exceptional guest services, managing restaurant reservations, and maintaining smooth table operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for hospitality. You will be the first point of contact for guests, providing friendly assistance and ensuring their visit exceeds expectations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering memorable dining experiences. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing excellent guest relations and hospitality Manage restaurant reservations using reservation management systems such as GINGR Coordinate seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction Answer phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette, assisting with reservations and general inquiries Maintain organized waitlists and communicate wait times clearly to guests Support food service staff by ensuring timely seating and guest flow management Uphold food safety standards and cleanliness in the host/hostess station and waiting areas Requirements Previous experience as a host or hostess in a Boarding Facility Strong communication skills with the ability to handle phone calls professionally and courteously Experience with restaurant table management systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Basic math skills for managing reservations, waitlists, and guest counts accurately Knowledge of food safety practices and hospitality standards Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours Ability to stay calm, friendly, and professional in fast-paced settings Prior experience with GINGR is a plus Join our team where your enthusiasm makes every guest feel valued!
